Sea Parsley grows along the pristine coastlines Southern Australia. Can often be found submerged in the coastland water tides which give it a slightly seaweed texture when hydrated. You can also find it up in the cliffs on the sandy dune lines.
Soak Sea Parsley 1-2 mins for salads, or add to soups and stews or as you would any other parsley. Great in soups, stir fries, marinades, pesto and dips.
Sea Parsley Current Research has shown sea parsley to contain high levels of phenolic contents and strong antioxidant activities. Sea Parsley contains several phenolic compounds that hold potential therapeutic effects for human health. Containing apiin and apigenin in high concentrations which could hold potential therapeutic effects on certain diseases like diabetes and cancer. More studies needed.
