BEETROOT, DAVIDSON PLUM & CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIES
This cake is Gluten & Dairy Free
INGREDIENTS
4 Small peeled Beetroot (1/2 cooked via steam method then cooled)
5 Free Range Eggs
100g of Cocoa Powder
4 Tbs of local honey
10 Pitted Dates
1/2 cup of almond meal
1-2 Tsp of NATIF Davidson Plum Powder
4 Tbs of butter (or coconut oil)
NATIF Davidson Plum powder (to sprinkle on top)
METHOD
Preheat oven to 200*C
Add chopped Beetroot, 1-2 teaspoons of NATIF Davidson Plum, chopped dates and eggs and blend for 2 minutes on low- medium speed.
Add the other ingredients and blend again for 30 seconds until smooth.
Pour the mixture onto a greased oven tray
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Cool, then slice.
Sprinkle with 1-2 tsps of NATIF Davidson plum powder or a mixture of coco powder.
Store in the fridge or freezer.
