Customs, Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, handling fees, quarantine inspection fees or other local charges once the parcel arrives in your country.

These charges are set by your country’s customs authority and are not included in the NATIF product price or shipping cost paid at checkout.

Any customs duties, taxes or additional fees are the responsibility of the customer. NATIF has no control over these charges and cannot predict the amount, as they vary depending on the destination country, order value, product type and local import regulations.

We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order so you understand any possible costs that may apply.

What Happens When Your Parcel Arrives Overseas?

When your parcel arrives in your country, it is usually processed by your local customs authority. They may review the contents of the parcel and assess whether any duties, taxes or fees are payable.

In some cases, your local postal service or courier may contact you directly to request payment of these charges before delivery can be completed.

Once customs clearance is finalised, your parcel is released to the local delivery provider, who will deliver it to your nominated address.

Delivery Delays

International delivery times can vary depending on the destination country, customs processing times, public holidays, seasonal demand and local postal or courier services.

Please allow extra time for customs clearance, as delays can occur once your parcel has arrived in your country. NATIF is not responsible for delays caused by customs, quarantine checks or local delivery services.

Food Import Regulations

As NATIF products are food items, some countries may have specific import restrictions, quarantine requirements or rules about dried herbs, spices, fruits, seeds or plant-based ingredients.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the products ordered are permitted to be imported into their country. If an order is delayed, returned, confiscated or destroyed by customs due to local import regulations, NATIF cannot be held responsible for any loss, fees or additional costs incurred.

Returned or Unclaimed Parcels

If a parcel is returned to NATIF because customs duties or taxes were not paid, the parcel was refused, the address was incorrect, or the parcel was unclaimed, any return shipping costs, customs fees or related charges may be deducted from any refund where applicable.

Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable.
